The Brookfield soccor facility located at the North side of Brookfield on the border with Menomonee Falls, WI, on Lisbon Rd. has new availability for Ultimate Frisbee games, groups, and rental of it's indoor fields.

The Brookfield Soccer Complex appears to be preparing for tournament games.

There is a new screen for the fence bordering Lisbon Rd.

The screen has the new EB United logo and Addidas logo featured on it.  The field is chalked and lights are available for night play.  As of Fri. Sept 23, 2022.

It is located on Lisbon Rd. west of Brookfield Rd. in Brookfield, WI.

Too dry for Fireworks??

It appeared to be too dry for fireworks in this area of Wisconsin. There had not been a decent amount of rain for a few weeks. It was almost the threat of a drought.

Although they let off fireworks on Saturday and Sunday, then on Monday night there was a good amount of rain.  It was a soaking.

Fireworks were fired on Monday night also.

What's Happening Today??!! Summer days, a mid-week summer day.

This morning trucks and cars are still speeding past and speeding up to the lights at the intersection of the local Hwy.

Is it for real?? Yes, there are many building and constructiuon projects that are being kept on track and therefore many trucks need to be there to move the dirt or bring in more dirt. They need large machines to be moved here and there.

Other contractors need to be at their project sites to do the heating and cooling installations, drywall, painting, exterior and interior work, and general construction work that it takes to build a building.

There are deliveries that need to be made, and the delivery drivers are out driving the goods out to where they need to go.  Whether it's beer and beverages to getting the kids to summer school, that what's happening!!

That is just mentioning a pert of the street traffic.

The sky is blue with bright sunshine, very hot these past few days, and a slight breeze. 

At the same time, there are other groups of people and creatures that are slow and not doing busy business.  They might be at summer camp or in the office.

It is two different realms of activity levels.  

Loud, Fast, Heavy traffic on the street......and Quiet, slow, un-concerned people and kids.

Taking a building that was used as a car wash years ago, and had not been being used very often, a local dog care and doggy day care business aquired the building and began renovating!

Cleaning up dust and dirt, fixing up other areas, the drive-in stalls used for car washing now have comfortable flooring for the pads of dogs and caretakers.

Fresh paint on the building with the company colors and new signage lets people know their is a new business in the area and in the building.

The new location has much more traffic and visibility from the busy main HWY road near the entrance to the Village.

Recovering the parking lot and establishing backyard fenced in area are more of the building and property conversion that improved the building and area.

The doggy daycare business already had a book of business and lots of customers, so the building is being used actively.

It appears the dog tenants have easily and quickly adjusted to their new building and location. I have seen a dog pulling it's owner toward the doggy daycare front door! It looks like their excited to be there.

Interestingly, as fast as this new space and building have provided more space, it appears that it's business could grow quickly and need another area. 

If they keep the dogs circulating, like preventing stagnant water, the dogs won't feel crowded.

The business could possibly rent the open lot next to the building and have a fenced in field for wide open spaces.

Another option is to cap it.

Capping the enrollment of daycare members is something most daycare facilities eventually have to deal with.

That is another bullet point to consider when deciding on a building to renovate, re-hab, or flip, or use as a new location.

The max level of occupancy and overflow areas are standards for most businesses operating in the public.

so, it was exciting to see the old driv thru car wash building get converted to an active doggy daycare business, hundreds of people see it everyday now.
